Where It All Started

My story with Subaru began over 20 years ago, when I was 16 years old and driving a Hawkeye WRX.

Like most young enthusiasts, I had ambitious plans and a budget that didn't quite agree with them. I wanted to build something special, but ultimately never had the opportunity to turn that car into what I envisioned.

Fast-forward two decades, and the 2022 WRX offered another opportunity.

Initially, the goal was relatively modest: build a fun, reliable 400-horsepower street car. But the more I learned about the FA24, the more interested I became in understanding what the platform was actually capable of.

That curiosity eventually turned a simple street build into a much larger undertaking.

What started as a personal project would ultimately become the foundation of Bonestock Builds.
